COVID-19

Working Together to Safeguard Patients

The COVID-19 pandemic is providing unprecedented challenges for each of us – especially for healthcare workers on the front lines. In an effort to help cut through the plethora of coverage and information currently available on the coronavirus, we’ve gathered a collection of resources and insights to support healthcare organizations across the care continuum.

naviHealth remains committed to working alongside our client partners to safeguard patients and the seniors we serve – many of whom are at a higher risk when it comes to COVID-19. We want to thank each of you – including our own colleagues – for your continued commitment to serve and protect in the face of uncertainty.

This page will continue to evolve as we collect data and insights from the front lines.

Our Clinicians’ Perspective

In our never-ending quest to improve the lives of our patients so they can live more fulfilling lives, now more than ever our colleagues are taking the naviHealth mission to heart. With close to 1,000 committed clinicians in client markets across the country, naviHealth provides a unique perspective as we support our partners and monitor this crisis closely. Our clinical teams are going above and beyond during this pandemic. Below are just a few messages that we’ve received from our staff on the front lines. Be sure to check this section for more content as it develops.

I marvel at the ongoing evolution of the way our medical professionals are studying and treating COVID-19: from the trial medication management, to vaccine/titer development to changes in ventilator use. I find it all amazing.

Renice S., Pittsburgh/Western PA

There are so many unknowns. Take one day at a time. Appreciate all that life has to offer and do what is necessary to stay healthy and safe.

Eva T., Pittsburgh/Western PA

It has been astonishing to me just how important human connection is to our health and even survival. A little bit of empathy really does go a long way.

Erin W., Northeast Texas

I’m reminded today that it’s the simple things: short “window visits”, walking eight feet and seeing [a] mother smile are all worth more than we could imagine.

Going Above and Beyond for Those Who Need it Most

On top of naviHealth’s continued commitment to providing our services on a day-to-day basis, more needs to be done for our most vulnerable patients to ensure they are being cared for during this difficult time. Our colleagues are stepping up to deliver an extra level of support that both patients, providers and community resources need including providing approved COVID-19 information, helping secure food and medication and much more.
